| At the non-vestibule end of each corridor is a fire escape. Each fire escape is fitted with an alarm to alert the glasshouse staff if one of the doors has been opened. Notice the filters on the air intake/exhaust system. | Fire extinguishers are available in each glasshouse corridor. | The corridor provides access to the system control panels for each cubicle. |

All pipe work an wires etc. passing from the corridor are caulked to ensure there is no route for unwanted material (e.g. viruses, insects etc.) to pass out of or into the cubicles. |
