Inside the Glasshouse Complex: Cubicles - Details: Doors & Seals

Each cubicle door is fitted with an externally accessible cylinder lock to enable the cubicle to be locked. The use of such cylinder locks means that there is no key hole, such as you get with traditional mortise type locks, passing through the door. Each door is tightly sealed with both a rubber and brush seal. Seals are checked regularly and are replaced before they are sufficiently worn to prevent them sealing the door properly.
